She is eight days old and perfect.
These were taken a few hours after she was born. I was sort of supposed to be there for the whole event, but ZoeyAne was in such a hurry to get here that they didn’t have time to call until after she arrived.

Meet Sarah and Emma. Yes, they are sisters; but no, they are not twins; and yes, they are in fact real.
Sarah is commonly known around campus as either The Girl Who Dresses Like She’s From the 40’s or The Red Lipstick Girl, but I get the pleasure of calling her one of my dearest friends. (And if you don’t believe that she always looks this fabulous, you can take a walk down memory lane, to this post I made over a year ago.)
Her sister Emma is the vintage blogger behind The Fiercest Lilliputian. If it’s been awhile since you cyberstalked/developed a healthy girlcrush on someone, well….you’re welcome. Only girlcrushes though, fellas – she’s married!
My sister Jo is not pictured, but she is the last fourth of this Sister collaboration – Jo did Emma and Sarah’s hair and makeup. [APPLAUSE] She’s also the one who suggested this shoot, as a portfolio swap for both of us. That was her Bright Idea – mine was asking Sarah to be our model, and Sarah’s was inviting her sister to join – confirming once and for all that Sisters were one of God’s very best ideas.
